First real dirt bike. I mowed about a million lawns to save the $800 for it.
Being a dad now, I don't know what mine was thinking encouraging me to jump for the pictures.
Dan, that look’s like a Yamaha GT80, circa 1984…I was coveting my cousins yz125 at around that time.

Rich, I think it was an early 70’s GT80. It does ring a bell now that you said it. Man that thing was a dog, especially before I put a new top end on it. My uncles kid had been running it in the dirt with no air filter for who knows how long. Putting that top end on was my first motorcycle project with my father and look where its got me now. HA!
